IFM Investors appoints Executive Director of Infrastructure Debt Investments in North America

IFM Investors has announced the appointment of Matthew Wade as Executive Director of Debt Investments for North America.

Mr. Wade will be responsible for growing the debt origination capabilities from the firm’s New York office. He will report directly to Rich Randall, Global Head of Debt Investments.

Mr. Wade’s appointment strengthens IFM’s infrastructure debt capabilities in North America and further complements the team’s overall growth and other senior level appointments this year. Earlier this year, IFM announced the appointment of Rich Randall to Global Head of Debt Investments and Joseph Braun to Associate Director of Debt Investments in North America.

Mr. Wade brings over 15 years of industry experience to the team. He was previously the Director of Project Finance at the Royal Bank of Canada in New York, where he was responsible for originating, structuring and executing finance and advisory solutions in the energy and infrastructure sectors. Prior to that, he held positions with Royal Bank of Scotland in both New York and London, where he worked in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

Rich Randall, Global Head of Debt Investments, said:

“Our long and successful track record in infrastructure debt for our institutional investors gives us a strong foundation to attract high calibre specialists, such as Matthew Wade, who will continue to build the business and focus on attractive opportunities in North America. Matthew will further enhance our ability to serve our existing investment partners and attract new similarly aligned investors in the region.”
