IFC seeks legal and technical consultant for road PPP project in Laos

The International Finance Corporation (IFC) is assisting the AIMS Government of Lao PDR (GoL) to select, through a transparent and competitive tender, a private investor/developer that will develop and improve the safety of the key arteries or roads, 13S (131 km) and 13N (136 km) in and out of Vientiane.

For this purpose the IFC is hiring technical and legal consultants. The consultants will be required to review the Feasibility Study and assist in preparing the transaction documents and the bid documents. It will also be expected to assist IFC prepare a Transaction Structure Report. The technical consultant will be required to assist in the evaluation of the bids received.

The deadline for the submission of Expressions of Interest is 11 ­Dec­ember 2013.

The PPP transaction advisory services, led by International Finance Corporation (IFC), is part of a broader World Bank (WB) Group engagement, where the WB will support GoL in completing a full feasibility study (FS) and the WB together with PPIAF will provide technical assistance for capacity building and policy advice.
