HSA Advocates promotes infra specialist to Partner

HSA Advocates has recently promoted infrastructure, energy and corporate M&A associate partner Avirup Nag into its partnership.

Airup, who joined HSA last year, previouly worked at Trilegal as a Counsel. At Trilegal, Avirup was also part o the infrastructure and energy team.

Avirup has acted for various Indian and overseas companies on a range of power (both conventional and renewable), oil & gas and general infrastructure transactions, with particular focus on mergers and acquisitions and investments in the energy and infrastructure sector.

Avirup has represented numerous clients in transactions involving the purchase or sale of energy assets. Avirup also regularly advises clients on drafting and negotiating all types of project development, supply and off-take contracts.

Airup did his European Master in Law and Economic (LL.M) under the European Union Erasmus Mindus programme from the University of Hamburg and the University of Vienna.

HSA Advocates is a law firm with offices in New Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata, and with a correspondent relationship in Bangalore. The firm now has 17 partners and associate partners and 70 lawyers.
