HICL Infrastructure appoints non-executive Director

The Board of Directors of HICL Infrastructure Company Limited, the listed infrastructure investment company advised by InfraRed Capital Partners Limited, has announced the appointment of a non-executive Director.

Kenneth D. Reid has been appointed to the post of non-executive director with effect from 1 September 2016. This appointment has been made following a comprehensive search carried out by a third party recruitment consultant.

Mr Reid is resident in Singapore and has more than 30 years of international experience in the sectors of construction, development and infrastructure investment.  Working initially with Kier Group, and then from 1990 with Bilfinger Berger AG, he has been a project leader and senior management executive responsible for businesses and projects across all continents.  From 2007 to 2010, Ken served as a member of the Group Executive Board of Bilfinger Berger AG.

He graduated in Civil Engineering from Heriot-Watt University with First Class Honours (BSc), and subsequently from Edinburgh Business School with an MBA. Ken is a Chartered Engineer, a non-executive director of Sicon Limited, and a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors.

Mr Reid has held no other listed company directorships in the past five years.

Ian Russell, Chairman of HICL Infrastructure, said:

"I am delighted to welcome Ken to the Board.  He has worked at a senior level in the infrastructure sector, not only in the UK but also internationally, and therefore brings very relevant experience to our Board."
