The city of Goiania, capital of the state of Goias (Brazil) has announced the public hearing for the Integrated Management Centre (CGI) public-private partnership project (PPP).
The project is part of the ICES program (Emerging and Sustainable Cities IDB Initiative - Inter-American Development Bank).
The CGI is a technology project within the concept of "smart city" to improve public services, ensure protection and security to citizens, development of an integrated municipal administration with greater efficiency and transparency in decision making.
The center will integrate solutions and systems in areas such as public services management (use of indicators to manage services and projects), public security (cameras and intelligent monitoring system for crime prevention), urban mobility (control adaptive traffic lights, traffic monitoring, information system for public transport users, information panels for drivers), environment (prevention of environmental disasters such as floods and fires) and municipal public services for citizens.
The feasibility studies for the concession were carried out by the Companhia Paulista de Desenvolvimento (CPD) who started the studies in September 2015.
