Abertis and Goldman Sachs preferred bidder for toll road in Puerto Rico
The Puerto Rican government has selected the consortium headed by abertis and the investment fund Goldman Sachs Infrastructure Partners II as the preferred bidder to manage the PR-22 and PR-5 toll roads. The consortium, which will manage both toll roads for a 40-year period, will invest a concession fee of US $1,080Mn (€762Mn).
Goethals Bridge P3 project's shortlistThree consortia have been shortlisted to design, build, finance and maintain the US$1.6 billion replacement Goethals Bridge.The teams shortlisted by the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey (PANYNJ) are:PANYNJ is due to issue the final request for proposals in the 3Q of this year with a deadline for responses before the end of this year. PANYNJ is to execute the contrat by Q2 of 2012. The aim is to complete construction of the project during 2017.
