Gibraltar re-tenders wastewater PPP project

The Government of Gibraltar has relaunched a tender for the design, build, finance and operation of a Wastewater Treatment Plant.

Only five private firms/consortia will be invited to tender. The most economically advantageous bid in terms of the criteria set in the tender documents will be selected.

Interested parties must submit their completed applications on or before 12 September 2014.

The tender process had been launched in July 2013, with a deadline of 2 August 2013. However it seems that the process was not completed and has been re-launched.

Gibraltar is a British Overseas Territory located on the southern end of the Iberian Peninsula at the entrance of the Mediterranean. It has an area of 6.8 square kilometres and a northern border with Andalusia, Spain. It has a population of about 30,000 inhabitants.
