French company, Génie Civil et Construction (GCC), has been selected for a Public private partnership project called ''Laboratoire Magmas et Volcans'' at Clermont Université, Aubiere.
Aubière is a commune in the Puy-de-Dôme department in Auvergne in central France.
The project consists of the construction, operation and maintenance during 25 years of a building which will be used for scientific purposes at Cézeaux campus, in Aubière.
The project was signed on September 13 by the President of the University and the President of GCC.
The Laboratory 'Laboratoire Magmas et Volcans'' is internationally recognized for his work in volcanology geochemistry. The project is framed within a national program started by the French government in 2008 to modernize universities and campuses that provide high added value.
In august 2013, GCC and Dutch infrastructure fund, DIF Infrastructure III were awarded a public private partnership contract for the expansion of the University of Medicine 'Lyon Sud'.
