The Poland's Ministry of Infrastructure and Development has announced that it has shortlisted five teams for the Wloclawek Road PPP project in Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Poland.
The five shortlisted teams are the following:
The project involves the construction, modernization and maintenance of the roads in Wloclawek which are about 270 km long. The selected developer will build a stretch of 12 Km and it will refurbish and modernize the rest. The company will also operate and maintain the roads for a period of 20 years.
The total investment for the project is estimated at Z400 million (US$132.7 million). Poland's public body PIR will provide partial financing for the project.
The project had attracted the interest of nine companies but four of them were not qualified. Via Nort, a subsidiary of Vinci was among those disqualified.
