Ireland’s National Development Finance Agency (NDFA), on behalf of the Department of Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government, has received pre-qualifications from five consortia for the first social housing PPP bundle.

Invitations to tender are expected to be sent out on 25 August.
As we reported in mid-May, NDFA issued a contract notice for the first bundle. The deadline for submitting proposals was June, 21.
The first bundle involves the DBFOM of six housing developments and between 525 and 560 housing units built across councils in Dublin, Louth, Wicklow and Kildare.
The 2nd phase of the Government’s current PPP programme, announced by the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, Brendan Howlin T.D in Budget 2015, envisages a programme to invest €300 million (US$321.6 million) in social housing and is expected to comprise:
The overall programme is being delivered in three bundles. Each bundle is being developed over a number of sites, spread across different local authorities.
Dublin City Council (DCC) has issued a prior information notice (PIN) for a housing initiative.
