Financial and commercial close for Grenoble university PPP

The University of Grenoble (France) along with its private partner have achieved commercial and financial closure for the university's Social and Human Sciences department PPP project.

The private partner is a consortium composed of As Fayat, Axima Concept and SNC Ineo Rhone Alpes Auvergne. The contract was awarded on 10 July 2015.

The project involves the design, build, finance and maintenance of the university's Social and Human Sciences department. The new facilities will include a total of four buildings in addition to the "Pôle Sciences Humaines et Sociales".

The total project investment is estimated at €66.5 million (US$73.4 million). The partnership agreement will be financed by the Crédit Coopératif, BTP Banque and ARKEA Banque Entreprises et Institutionnels.

The University of Grenoble was advised on this operation by Bird & Bird, an international law firm.
