Financial advisor sought for Saskatchewan school P3 project

SaskBuilds Corporation, in collaboration with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education and applicable School Divisions, is inviting Financial and Procurement Advisory Services for the Saskatchewan Joint-Use Schools Project.

The contracting authority is considering a public private partnership (P3) delivery model for the Saskatchewan Joint-Use Schools Project. In October the Government of Saskatchewan announced the potential use of a Public Private Partnership (P3).

The Project will consist of building nine new joint-use elementary schools in Martensville, Regina, Saskatoon, and Warman.

SaskBuilds seeks a consultant as a Financial and Procurement Advisor to undertake the necessary due diligence and procurement preparation (Phase One) for the Project. Pending further project approvals, SaskBuilds may extend the consulting services contract to include financial and procurement advisory services through the Project development, procurement and closing phases (Phase Two).

The deadline for for submission of Proposals is 11 december 2013.
