Fiera Capital sells 35% equity stake in Axium Infrastructure

Axium Infrastructure  has entered into a definitive agreement with Fiera Capital Corporation pursuant to which Axium will redeem Fiera Capital’s 35% equity ownership in the firm.

The transaction, which is subject to customary closing conditions, is expected to close on or about January 15, 2016.

As a result of this transaction, the Management team will own more than 80% of Axium, further aligning the team’s interest with that of its investors.

The Firm most recently announced an agreement to acquire from EDP Renewables (EDPR) an ownership interest in a portfolio of seven wind farms located throughout the United States.
