Euroports and Inland Terminals B.V. have reached an agreement on the sale of Euroports Containers Meerhout NV, the enterprise operating the inland container terminal in Meerhout, Belgium.

Inland Terminals B.V.  adds the Meerhout facilities to their emerging portfolio of inland container terminals in line with the company's future strategy. Euroports, ont he other hand, will use the proceeds from the sale to further strengthen its portfolio of deep-sea ports.The transaction was concluded for an undisclosed amount. Entire management team and staff will remain part of the terminal under its new name BCTN Meerhout. The local organization of the enterprise will remain unchanged according to both companies.
