InfraPPP is a supporting organization for CG/LA Infrastructure's upcoming Inaugural Europe, Eurasia and the Southern & Eastern Mediterranean Infrastructure Leadership Forum, occurring December 11-13) in Malaga, Spain.

CG/LA hosts five forums around the world annually, each event presents a unique opportunity for conducting new business development. The main objective of this forum is to create opportunities for public and private stakeholders in the infrastructure sector, bringing participants from over 20 countries throughout Eurasia, the Maghreb and the Middle East. Co-hosted alongside EBRD and the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure & Water Management, this forum will host multiple industry leader keynotes and 40+ project presentations delivered by their respective owner or team member. Projects at the Forum cover all sectors - energy, logistics, ports, surface transportation, airports, rail, and transit. All have contract opportunities in the next 3-18 months. New Project Confirmations:
The Sofia Istanbul High-Speed Train Project
Connecting Turkey's high-speed train network with Europe's, this rail line will be 230-kilometer and cost about €1 billion - the largest project ever financed by the EU outside of the EU! Turkey's Deputy Minister of Transportation will lead a delegation from the Turkish Ministry of Transport & Infrastructure, and private sector leaders.
 
Sevilla Metro Lines 2, 3, and 4
This project will create three new lines for the Sevilla Metro, complementing its existing single lines. It will extend over 40 km and have 60 stations,16 in line 2, 20 in line 3, and 24 in line 4.

    FCC completes sale of 49% stake in Aqualia to IFM

    FCC has announced that it has formally completed the sale of a 49% stake in its Aqualia subsidiary to Australian fund IFM Investors for EUR1.024 billion (US$1.187 billion). This comes after the European Commission (EC) and the Federal Economic Competition Commission of Mexico approved the sale on 22 August and 20 September, respectively.

    Spain to remove tolls on road concessions

    Spain's new Minister of Development has announced that the government has decided to remove tolls on national roads currently operated under 50-year concession contracts expiring between this year and 2021. Ownership will revert to the State upon expiration.
