Ernst & Young creates new infrastructure team in Madrid

The financial adviser, Ernst and Young is trying expand business in Spain through the creation of a new infrastructure and PPP team. Javier Garcia Seijas has been hired to lead this new team.

Before joining Ernst and Young, Javier Garcia Seijas's role was Head of Infrastructure Development for SEITT, PPP's think tank of the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation of Spain. Previously he had different roles at Cintra and Acciona. He received his Executive MBA from the IE Business School in Madrid.

Mr. Garcia Seijas has been joined by two project managers, Raul Perez and Carlos Sastre.

Raúl Pérez worked for Cintra for 5 years, having been involved in projects in the US, Canada, Ireland, Poland, Portugal and Spain. During that period, he hold technical, financial and project management roles.

Carlos Sastre worked as a project manager of infrastructure and PPPs for Iridium Concesiones (Grupo ACS). He successfully led the firm to get several contracts in a wide range of infrastructure bids (hospitals, roads, etc), mostly in Spain, but also in Canada and Portugal. Prior to this, he worked for Dragados Construction.
