The government of La Guajira has issued a request of Expressions of Interest (EOI) to invite companies to participate in the tender process for another road PPP project.
The project involves the design, build and financing of the Cuestecita – La Florida road; the upgrade of the sections between El Ebanal - Arroyo Arena and between La Florida – Tomarrazón; the construction of the road stretch between Tomarrazón – Los Gorros – Chorrera – Corral de Piedra – Los Haticos. The contract comprises also the operation and maintenance of all the road stretches.
The contract value amounts to COP1 billion (US$344 million).
The tender process was launched in September, 7.The government is requesting responses to the tender by 10 November.
