Eiffage strengthens its international position by the acquisition of the Chris Vuylsteke group in the Benelux

Eiffage has announced it is to acquire, via Eiffage Benelux, a subsidiary of its Construction branch, the Chris Vuylsteke group, a company specialized in construction and property development based in Meulebeke, West Flanders (Belgium).

Founded in 1969, Chris Vuylsteke is a general construction company with 160 employees and an annual turnover of approximately €45 million (US$50 million).

This operation is part of the international development strategy of Eiffage. The acquisition of the Chris Vuylsteke group, with management continuity, will enable Eiffage Benelux to strengthen its position and expand its activities in West-Flanders, in particular for design and build, property development and public-private partnerships.

The acquisition is subject to the approval of the Belgian Competition Authority.
