DP World acquires stake in Peru's second largest container terminal
DP World has announced that it has acquired Cosmos Agencia Maritima S.A.C. (CAM) for US$315.7 million. Based in Peru, CAM owns a 50% stake in Terminales Portuários Euroandinos S. A., in the Port of Paita (north-east Peru), which is the second largest container terminal in the country.

Preferred bidders selected for two telecom PPPs in Peru
ProInversión, the private investment promotion agency of Peru, has announced it has awarded the Broadband Installation for Comprehensive Connectivity and Social Development projects. This is a collection of projects located in the regions of Amazonas, Ica, Lima, Junín, Puno, Moquegua, and Tacna, which will directly benefit 950,000 Peruvians in 1,432 towns and cities.

Peruvian government advances desalination P3s
The Government of Peru presented a bill to promote and co-finance the execution of water treatment projects (desalination), under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) scheme at the national level. The initiative is called "Law to promote water treatment projects and policy of integration in sanitation", which includes incorporations to the Organic Law of Municipalities (LOM).
