 DIF Infrastructure III reaches closing on a French Fire Station PPP Project

On  November 28th 2013 DIF has reached commercial and financial closed for a Fire Station PPP project in partnership with Vinci Construction France.

The project consists of the design, build, financing, operation, and maintenance of 12 fire stations spread over the Loiret department in the centre of France.

The project agreement has a term of 22 years and project completion is expected in September 2017.

The long term debt financing is arranged by NORD/LB.

After the closing of the Toulouse Mirail University Project earlier this year, and of the Belfort and Angoulême Hospital Projects in 2012, this is the fourth successful PPP transaction closed by DIF in France with Vinci Construction.

DIF Infrastructure III together Génie Civil et Construction (GCC) was also awarded a public private partnership contract for the expansion of the University of Medicine 'Lyon Sud' in August 2013.

    VINCI acquires 16.67% stake in Cofiroute from Colas

    Colas (partially owned by Bouygues) and VINCI Autoroutes have reached an agreement whereby Colas is to sell its 16.67% stake in Cofiroute to VINCI Autoroutes. The transaction is priced between a minimum of €780 million and a maximum of €800 million, subject to certain operational assumptions being realised over the 2014-2015 period.
