Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management appoints debt infrastructure director

Deutsche Asset and Wealth Management (DeAWM) has hired Nitesh Mistry to manage infrastructure debt in Europe.

Mr. Mistry will report to Jorge Rodriguez, global head of infrastructure debt, and will be responsible for originating, structuring and managing infrastructure debt opportunities in the region. Mistry will also head up the plans for further expanding the infrastructure debt platform.Jorge Rodriguez is based in New York where, over the past year, DeAWM has hired two other team members. The infrastructure debt team works closely together with the firm's infrastructure equity team.
Mistry, who has more than 15 years of experience in the infrastructure market, will be based in London. Prior to joining, Mistry was previously a director in the European investment banking division at The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ. Before that, he was a Director of Infrastructure finance at Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS).
Hamish Mackenzie, head of infrastructure for Europe and debt, said:
"With an extensive track record in infrastructure debt investing, Nitesh brings valuable transaction experience and established industry relationships. He will focus on the continued development of our infrastructure debt business."
