The deadline for submission of bids for the Brasilia Technology City PPP project has been extended. At the beginning the deadline was on 28 May 2013, but finally, on 27 May the Distrito Federal decided to extend the deadline till 27 Jun 2013.
The park will be built through a public-private partnership. The government will provide with the land and resources, and a pricate investor will be responsible for construction, maintenance and management of physical and technological infrastructure of the park.
The estimated investment will be US$385 million, and the therm of the concession will be 20 years.
The winning bidder will have Terracap as a minority partner (47.1%) of the special purpose entity that will be responsible for implementing the technology park.
