DC Advisory hires infrastructure finance executive

Corporate finance firm, DC Advisory, has appointed Tobias Gewolker as an Executive Director on its Infrastructure team, which was established by Sergio Ronga a year ago. He joins DC from Barclays Capital to continue a thirteen year corporate finance career primarily focused on Infrastructure deals.

Tobias' appointment comes at a very busy time for the company which has completed 23 transactions so far this year, facilitated in no small part by its strong global footprint; 65% of the transactions have been cross-border.

Richard Madden, UK Chief Executive of DC Advisory, commented:

"Tobias is joining a growing and dedicated Infrastructure team which has had an exceptional year in an increasingly active sector. I am confident that Tobias will enhance DC's senior team and help us build on our very busy start to 2013."

Sergio Ronga joined the firm in 2012 from Macquarie Capital, where he was a managing director in its debt advisory team.

DC Advisory operates as an autonomous business unit of Daiwa Capital Markets, the international investment banking division of Daiwa Securities Group listed in Japan with a market capitalisation of €12 billion.
