David McFadden appointed Chairman of Infrastructure Advisory Boards at Fengate Capital Management

Fengate Capital Management, an investment management firm, has appointed Mr. David McFadden as Chairman of its Canadian and International Infrastructure Advisory Boards.

The company aims that this appiontment guide the infrastructure team through significant growth on a global scale. Mr. David McFadden partnership with Fengate started in 2006, with the launch of the LPF Infrastructure Fund. Since then, Mr. McFadden has helped facilitate the establishment of eight more funds for infrastructure projects in Canada and select international markets.

Mr. McFadden sees a dynamic future for Fengate Capital based on its achievements nationally over the past nine years. He stated:

"Fengate has really been a great success story in Canadian infrastructure. The goal is to see the Fengate family of funds achieve the same success in the development of investment opportunities and returns to investors in markets at home and abroad."

The change in Mr. McFadden's role is related directly to Fengate's success in becoming a global player and he will be an invaluable asset to its international investment strategy moving forward.

Mr. McFadden explained that, "important to all of Fengate's funds is not only a solid rate of return on our investors' money, but also the maintenance of a high standard of reporting and governance". Mr. McFadden's experience ranges from legal and business advice to serving on a number of boards of companies such as PCI Geomatics Inc., Macquarie Canadian Infrastructure Management, 407 International Inc, Detroit and Canada Tunnel Corp. and Hughes Aircraft of Canada Ltd. He remains Counsel at Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP, where he has previously served on that firm's Board of Trustees and Executive Committee
