Colombian infrastructure company CSS Constructures S.A. has won the concession contract for the Matecaña airport new terminal project, delivered under PPP scheme.
The concession involves the modernization of the airport under a design, build, finance, operation and maintain (DBFOM) model with a total investment of certain COP 380 billion (US$126 million).
As we reported October 2014, there were a total of ten firms bidding for the project. These were namely:
Matecaña International Airport connects the Risaralda department of Colombia. It also serves the cities of Armenia, Cartago, and Manizales in emergency situations.
The city of Pereira owns and manages the terminal building, while the operations are in charge of Aerocivil. On average, there are 25 daily commercial operations.
Colombia's national infrastructure agency (ANI) has awarded to Consorcio Promesa de Sociedad Futura the concession contract for the the Accesos Norte de Bogotá road PPP.
