A consortium led by China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) has won the tender process for the Zheng'an-Xi'shui Expressway PPP project in Guizhou Province, China.
The wining team is composed of CSCEC, China Construction Fourth Engineering Division Corp (CSCEC 4th Bureau) and China State Construction International Holdings Limited (CSCI).
Located in the North of Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, the project has the total length of 1,128 km. Most of the sections are built in high elevation mountain area with the altitude of over 1,500 m or in canyons with the vertical height exceeding 100 m.
The total project investment is estimated at CNY15.3 billion (US$2.346 billion).
The project is the first large infrastructure project to be undertaken by CSCEC in Western China.
Throughout this year we have reported that CSCEC had won the tender processes for the FAW-Volkswagen (Qingdao) East China Manufacture Base PPP project and Changsha Yuening avenue PPP project. Additionaly this year the company has achieved commercial closure for the Nanning City Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) PPP project.
