CSCEC subsidiary wins PPP project in Changsha

China Construction Fifth Engineering Division Corp, a China State Construction Engineering Corporation subsidiary (CSCEC), has won the bid for Changsha Yuening avenue PPP project. Changsha is the capital of central China’s Hunan province. 

The project has a length of 17.48 km and an investment value of CNY1.135 billion (US$173 million). It is the first PPP project of Xiangjiang new district, the national-level new district.

The avenue starts from Leifeng, Pingshan new district, and ends at the intersection of Ningxiang south county bus terminal with the Ningxiang second ring road. Yuening Avenue has the total length of about 33 km furthermore, it will help to advance in the progress of the "Integration of the city" once completed.

We published in December 2015 that China State Construction Engineering Corporation won two other transport PPP projects in China: the Taizhou Bay Bridge PPP project with a total length of the bridge and connecting lines exceeding 32 km, and the Zhuzhou Tiedong Road PPP Project with a total length of 1.6 km.

It is important to say that China State Construction Engineering Corporation ranks 3rd as the largest contractor in the world (1st according to International Construction) and the 20th largest general contractor in terms of overseas sales.
