Saudi Entertainment Ventures (Seven) has awarded Shapoorji Pallonji to undertake the construction and management of entertainment destination public-private partnership PPP project in Al Hamra, Saudi Arabia.
The project involves the construction of 21 integrated entertainment centers with over 150 innovative attractions in Al Hamra, Saudi Arabia. The project will be located on a land plot of more than 90,000 sq m with a built-up area of 167,000 sq m and will be strategically located at the intersection of the East Ring Road and King Abdullah Road. Al Hamra will feature indoor hubless wheel, Wave House indoor surfing, a 10-lane bowling alley, indoor skydiving, an indoor karting racetrack, as well as cinemas, restaurants, cafés, international retail stores and fitness. The project should attract 6 million visitors a year. Seven contributes US$798.8 million to the project.
The project is part of a larger Seven's project to build 21 amusement parks in Riyadh, Kharj, Makkah, Jeddah, Taif, Dammam, Khobar, Al Ahsa, Madinah, Yanbu, Abha, Jazan, Buraidah, and Tabuk.
