Air India SATS Airport Services Private Limited (AISATS) has been selected by the Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL) to design, build, finance and operate an integrated multi-modal cargo hub (MMCH) in New Noida International Airport in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh, India.
YIAPL is a 100% subsidiary of Zurich Airport International AG, which is developing Noida airport in partnership with the Uttar Pradesh government and the government. MMCH will be equipped with connectivity and integrated technology systems to meet growing logistics demand in India. The MMCH will consist of an integrated cargo terminal (ICT) and an integrated warehousing and logistics zone (IWLZ). ICT will handle both domestic and international shipments, manage express courier deliveries and have a refrigerated port Coolport for pharmaceuticals and temperature-sensitive shipments. IWLZ will have storage facilities such as BUP Facility, Consolidation Center, Bonded Warehouse, Logistics Park for E-Com Players and 3PL Warehouse & Trucking Center for truck parking.
The US$2.42 billion New Noida International Airport will encompass parameters such as short and efficient passenger flows and commitment to minimal environmental impact.
