Consultant sought for road PPP project in Tanzania

Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) has invited expressions of interest (EOI) from consultants for the design review, construction supervision and management of road works contracts. 

The Consultancy Services aimed at evaluating the design, overseeing construction, and managing works contracts for the enhancement of the Nyikonga BridgeKashelo Junction - Ilolangulu Section (25.48 KM) and the Ushirombo (Kilimaheya) – Nanda Section (15.57 KM) within the Geita Region. Tanzania has secured funding from the World Bank for the Tanzania Roads to Inclusion and Socioeconomic Opportunities (RISE) initiative. The Consulting Services encompass a comprehensive array of tasks, including the assessment of design elements, supervision of construction activities, and the oversight of the Defects Notification Period. The proposed contract spans a duration of 62 months, encompassing 26 months for the supervision of construction and an additional 36 months dedicated to overseeing defects during the Defects Notification Period.
