The National government of Colombia has restarted the works for Santander de Quilichao-Popayán 4G project in Colombia. The project is on hold for six years for not having all the environmental licenses required for its construction.
The project involves the development of a 77 Km of dual carriageway between Santander de Quilichao and Popayán. The consortium which is responsible for the construction of the project is comprised of companies like Hidalgo e Hidalgo Colombia branch (25%), Hidalgo e Hidalgo Colombia SAS (5%) and Construction and Administration SA – CASA (70%).
The consortium will begin the construction works for COP1.70 billion (US$38.85 million) road corridor project after the signing of the initiation act.
The National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) has received two bids for the development of the dual carriageway works of the Buga-Buenaventura project in Colombia.
