The Ministry of Public Investments has launched construction progress for University Children's Hospital Tiršova 2 project in Serbia.
The hospital will be equipped with a developed medical infrastructure and will be able to provide medical services to small patients from Serbia in accordance with EU standards. The hospital can meet the specific complex pediatric needs of neighboring countries on the basis of bilateral agreements between countries. The hospital will replace the existing building, which will be converted into a pediatric palliative care unit, accommodation for accompanying parents, or a combination of both. The new hospital will provide a suitable family environment in double rooms.
The projection/gross area of the building is 95.45 m². The number of patient beds is 167-230 and 71 beds within the day hospital. The hospital consists of 7 main blocks: examination and treatment, patient care, supply and disposal, administration, scientific research and academic part, technical premises and social protection services. Inpatient facilities are provided on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors.
