Construction completed for USD22 million Road PPP project in Paraguay

César Daniel Delgado Construcciones SA (CDD Construcciones SA) has completed the 89 km long PY11 route that connects the towns of Santa Rosa del Aguaray and Puerto Antequera in San Pedro, Paraguay.

A Highway Rehabilitation and Maintenance Contract by Service Levels (CREMA) was used to enhance the road which aims to expedite freight transportation, raise traffic safety and benefit people in its direct area of ​​influence. The project also included complementary works in the cities of Santa Rosa del Aguaray, Nueva Germania, San Pedro del Ycuamandiyú and Puerto Antequera, such as asphalt regularization on cobblestones, improvements to the Puerto Antequera viewpoint, a roundabout between the PY11 route and the Puerto bypass Antequera.

The CREMA modality is divided into two stages: rehabilitation and maintenance. The first stage was completed on June 30, 2022 and the second stage is valid until June 30, 2027. At present, the contracting company is working on fixing potholes, ditches, and sewers in addition to the domain strip.

The Guarani Consulting SA Civil Engineers is responsible for the supervision of the work.
