The BNDES has launched a public notice for the concession of visitation services for four urban parks in Recife, Brazil.
Block A consists of Jaqueira, Santana, and Apipucos parks, while Block B comprises Dona Lindu Park. The division into two blocks is aimed at enhancing the unique characteristics of each park and attracting additional investments to enhance infrastructure and conservation efforts.
The selected recipient will be tasked with facilitating visitation, maintenance, and enhancement of services, as well as implementing conservation and protection measures. The announcement also outlines investments totaling approximately BRL 49 million (US$ 9.6 million) over six years for enhancements to leisure infrastructure and facilities across various areas. Additionally, investments of about BRL 363 million (US$ 71.7 million) are earmarked for the operation and management of the parks.
