Comune in Lombardy tenders energy efficiency PPP

Quinzano d'Oglio Comune in Lombardy, Italy, has launched a tender process to carry out an energy efficiency project through the public private partnership (PPP) model.

The concession will involve the provision of energy services for the heating municipal building system and the operation and maintenance of the municipal public lighting system, which is composed of 996 light points. The preferred bidder will also be responsible for improving the energy efficiency of both systems.

The concession contract will have a period of 30 years and its value is estimated at €7.4 million (US$8.4 million).

Interested parties must submit their request to participate in Italian on or before May 26.
