The Public-Private Partnership Pre-Qualification Bids and Awards Committee (PBAC) has invited local and international corporations (Challengers) to submit comparative proposals under a Comparative Challenge Process under the PPP Code and its IRR for the Redevelopment of the General Santos City Central Public Market.
The City Government of General Santos, through the Office of the City Mayor, has received an unsolicited proposal from Robinsons Land Corporation (Original Proponent) for the Redevelopment of the General Santos City Central Public Market Project. The unsolicited proposal is a Public-Private Partnership arrangement for the redevelopment of the existing Public Market located in Barangay Dadiangas South, General Santos City, which shall consist of 3 floors, with space allocation for the new public market and commercial complex. The Project involves the financing, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of the new public market and commercial complex, for 28 years commencing on the construction start date, and the transfer of the new public market and commercial complex to the City Government at the end of the project term.
