Colombia´s ani tenders two road concessions

The Colombian National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) has officially launched the tender process to select national or international candidates for two roads concession.

The preferred bidders will be responsible for the design, build, finance, operation and maintenance of the roads during the concession period.

The two public private partnership (PPP) road projects will link Bucaramanga with the city of Pamplona and Pamplona with Cúcuta. More specifically, the projects involve the following:

  • Bucaramanga- Pamplona road PPP project involves the development of a 133 km road, which includes the Bucaramanga bypass and the Floridablanca bypass. The new road will have connections with the Barbosa – Bucaramanga and the Pamplona – Cúcuta concessions. The concession value is estimated at US$436 million.
  • Pamplona – Cúcuta road PPP project involves the development of a 62 km road. The new road will have a connection with the Bucaramanga- Pamplona concession. The concession value is estimated at US$541 million.

Interested parties must submit the solicited documents on or before 11 March 2016 for the Bucaramanga -  Pamplona road PPP project and on or before 13 March 2016 for the Pamplona – Cúcuta road PPP project.
