Colombia's ANI appoints Executive VicePresident

Colombia's National Infrastructure Agency announced on Wednesday that Javier Alberto Hernandez Lopez took possession as Executive Vice President of the agency in a ceremony held on October 1, 2013 at ANI's headquarters.

Javier Alberto Hernandez Lopez was born in Bogota on March 28, 1975. He is a lawyer and is specialist in Public Management and Administrative Institutions.

Mr. Hernandez Lopez has proven experience in advisory and legal consulting to major companies in the private and public sector.

His role will include the following tasks:

  • Exercising legal and judicial representation of the entity and appoint a proxy in judicial and extrajudicial matters for the defense of the interests of the same, in contracts that are assigned by the President of the Agency on the recommendation of the Board.
  • Coordinating actions related to the formulation of plans, programs and projects.
  • Coordinating, evaluate and control the development of the concession contracts or other forms of Public Private Partnership by the entity that may be assigned by the President of the Agency on the recommendation of the Board.
