The National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) in Colombia has announced the completion of construction works for the 198.35 km long Neiva-Espinal-Girardot highway corridor under its 4G infrastructure projects.
The works carried out on the highway corridor include the construction of a 76.38 km long second carriageway between Neiva to Aipe and Saldaña to Espinal, the improvement works on a 21 km long highway section, the construction of a 3.5km long new single carriageway and rehabilitation of a 170 km carriageway as well as the development of 44 bridges and 6 pedestrian bridges.
The construction works had an investment value of COP997.88 billion (US$252.57 million). The concessionaire will begin operation and maintenance services for the whole corridor.
