Coalianza receives proposals for urban regeneration project in La Lima
A total of three Honduran companies have submitted prequalification documents for the execution of the project "La Lima mi Ciudad está en Desarrollo" urban PPP project located in the municipality of La Lima.
These construction companies are, namely: Grupo MC, Ingenieria Calona (INCAH) and Bricenos y Asociados. According to sources, the shortlist is expected to be released in October 28.
The project involves the paving of thirteen streets with hydraulic concrete, the winning investor should design, build, finance and provide maintenance for the project. The total budget for the project is estimated at US$7.6 million.
This urban regeneration project aims to improve road infrastructure Ia city; providing pathways that enable economic and social development of this sector of the country, generating savings in travel times in fuel consumption as well as the generation of direct and indirect employment.

Honduras to tender Rail project in next months
More concretely, the PPP railway project will connect Puerto Castilla, in Colón Department on the Caribbean Sea, with the Port of Amapala in Isla del Tigre on the Pacific Ocean. Puerto Castilla has a depth of 41.5 meters while the Port of Amapala has a depth of about 25 meters. It is expected that 60,000 containers arrive at the two ports daily. Read more -
