The government of Chile, through the Ministry of Public Works (MOP), has released a legal announcement opening the international public tender process for the execution, repair, conservation and operation of the project known as Route 66 - Camino de la Fruta through the concessions system. The upgrade of the Ruta 66 - Camino de la fruta will link Melipilla and San Pedro communes.
As mentioned, the tender process will be international; whether natural or juridical persons, national or foreign, may participate, complying with the requirements of the concessions law, the regulation of the same law and the bidding rules.
The bids will be received by the opening commission in a public ceremony on February 2, 2018, at 12.00 pm in the Auditorium of the MOP, located at calle Morandé 71, third floor. On the other hand, the opening of economic offers will be held on February 23rd, 2018, at 12.00 pm at the same place.
The scheme involved comprises the design, build, operation and maintenance of approximately 144.2 kilometers of intercity road, starting at the junction with Ruta 5 Sur, Pelequén sector, Sexta Region, crossing part of the Metropolitan Region and ending at the access road to the Port of San Antonio at La Quinta.
