CCR to carry out Feasibility study for Rio de Janeiro ring road

CCR has been selected by the City of Rio de Janeiro for the development of the feasibility studies of a concession to complete and integrate the ring road around Rio de Janeiro.

The request for Expressions of interest was launched on April 9 and the deadline for registration was 30 days later.

Two other companies have shown interest in the feasibility studies (Ecorodovias and Carioca Engenharia/Queiroz Galvão), but according to the rules of the EOI, only one company could be authorized to conduct the studies.

CCR had the lowest bid, R$4.5 million, and this allowed the firm to get the best score in the tender process. The City of Rio de Janeiro made public all the scores.
