The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has launched a request for proposal (RFP) to hire consultants to provide financial advisory services to its public, private partnership (PPP) program.
The selected firm will have to support Caltrans to provide, a very in-depth, comprehensive, and complex financial modeling, assessments, and analyses regarding the transportation projects
Caltrans requires the services in areas of innovative financing, including bonds and loans such as Grant Anticipation Revenue Vehicle (GARVEE) bonds, State Infrastructure Bank (SIB) loans, Transportation Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (TIFIA) loans, ect.
Caltrans, which is headquartered in Sacramento, manages the state highway system (which includes the California Freeway and Expressway System) and is actively involved with public transportation systems throughout the state. The department is part of the state cabinet-level California State Transportation Agency (CalSTA).
Interested parties must submit their proposals on or before May 5.
