Buckinghamshire NHS Trust tenders DBFM project

The Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust announced on 20 Feb. 2014 that it has launched a tender process for the design build finance and provision of Choice Framework for local Policy and Procedures (CFPP) Validation, Hard and Soft FM Services.

The Choice Framework for local Policy and Procedures (CFPP) is an initiative being piloted by the Department of Health. It forms a suite of evidence-based policy and guidance documents on the management and decontamination of reusable medical devices.

Interested companies must submit their request to participate on or before March 24, 2014. The release of invitations to tender to selected candidates is schedule for April 3, 2014.

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is a major provider of community and hospital services in South Central England, providing care to over half a million patients from Buckinghamshire and neighbouring counties every year. It  provide a wide range of high quality acute and community services from three acute hospital sites in Amersham, Stoke Mandeville and Wycombe, five community hospitals at Thame, Marlow, Buckingham, Chalfonts and Gerrards Cross and Waterside, and a number of community sites across the county.

Specialist services include  regional dermatology, allergy and skin cancer centre, burns care and plastics sub-regional centre, cardiac services and the National Spinal Injuries Centre.
