A city in British Columbia has launched a tender for a new stadium under a P3.
The City of Surrey has issued a request for qualifications (RFQ) in order to establish a shortlist of preferred bidders with the required expertise, capabilities and resources to perform various works associated with design, construct, finance and operate an outdoor spectator stadium.
The project may be used by the concessionaire as the 'home field' for the operation of a professional team and may be used for other ancillary uses, in compliance with the terms and conditions of an lease agreement that will regulate the operation of the outdoor spectator stadium and that will require community access to and use of the project..
