The Brazilian municipality of Sorocaba has received fifteen EOI from thirteen different firms who want to execute the feasibility studies of the Sorocaba Bus Rapid Transit (BTR) and the Sorocoba Clinic Hospital projects.

The companies that submitted EOIs for the BTR project are the following:

• Consórcio Sorocaba;
• Creta Planejamento;
• Ellenco Construções Ltda.;
• KPMG Structured Finance S.A.;
• Proficenter Construções Ltda.;
• Promon Engenharia Ltda.

The companies that submitted EOIs for the Sorocoba Clinic hospital are the following:

• Abengoa Construção Brasil Ltda.,
• Construcap e BF Capital Assessoria Operações Financeiras;
• IDOM Consultoria Ltda.;
• KPMG Structured Finance S.A.;
• Proficenter Construções Ltda.;
• Mendes Júnior Trading e Engenharia S.A.;
• Construtora Norberto Odebrecht;
• Vivante S. A.

Requested studies will be submitted in the coming months. The Board of Directors of the PPP program of Sorocaba will, once approved the feasibility studies, authorize completion of its public hearings and consultations.

Sorocaba is a municipality in the state of São Paulo. It is the eighth largest city in the state of São Paulo.

Additionally, the city has announced that it will publish soon two new Request for expressions of Interest (PMIs) for structuring PPPs in the street lighting and waste management sectors.
