The municipality of Patos de Minas in Minas Gerais, Brazil has launched a tender notice seeking private partner to modernize the public lighting network in the city. The scope of works involves the replacement of 25,000 public lighting points in the city using LED lights.
The private partner will be responsible for installation, modernization, efficiency, expansion, management, operation, and maintenance services for the municipal public lighting network for a period of 13 years.
The approximately 150,000 inhabitants of the city will benefit from these changes that will lead to the reduction of energy consumption, improving the quality of services and valuing urban spaces, such as the city's important tourist spots, in addition to contributing to the reduction of crime in the city.
