The National Land Transport Agency (ANTT) in Brazil has signed a concession agreement with BR-163 consortium for exploitation of the BR-163/230/MT/PA (Sinop, MA - Miritituba, PA) road concession. The Via Brasil BR-163 consortium is formed by the companies Conasa Infraestrutura SA, Zeta Infraestrutura SA, Construtora Rocha Cavalcante LTDA, Engenharia de Materials LTDA and M4 Investimentos e Participações LTDA.
The BR-163/230/MT/PA road is 1,009.52 km long in length and connects the Midwest and North of Brazil. The road section is expected to act as a fundamental element for the development of the region as well as enable the flow of producing areas and promote the economy of 13 municipalities in two states.
The scope of work involves services for the conservation, maintenance, operation, implementation of improvements and expansion of capacity of the highways BR-163/230/MT/PA for 10 years and renewable for another 2 years.
