Brazil opens consultation of preliminary studies for four rail concessions

The Brazillian public agency 'Superintendência de Infraestrutura e Serviços de Transporte Ferroviário de Cargas' has published during the last days different notices to get contributions to the preliminary engineering studies of four railway projects to be tendered through concessions in the months ahead.

The projects are included in the 'Plano de Investimento em Logística', launched by the government in August last year.

Railway between Uruaçu (Goias) and Campos (Rio de Janeiro)

The project consists a freight railway with 1,706 km of length.
