The previous deadline to submit proposals was February 25, 2015. In the first change the deadline was changed to April 13 and now the new deadline is 28 May. The first tender process for the project was launched in 2012, but it did not receive any proposals.

The concession has an estimated value over R$2 billion (US$685 million). The maximum annual payment is established at R$111.69 million (US$4 million).
